Dell proudly conducts the official launch of 2016 range of all new Inspiron 2-in-1 notebooks. These devices were first seen in May at Computex. The company plans to bring the 5000 and 3000 series to India whereas no word has been leaked about the 7000 series launch.
Dell 3000 series notebook boasts of an 11-inch screen whereas the 5000 series notebook comes in two variants with 13-inch and 15-inch screen. Dell claims Inspiron 11 3000 laptop to be the smallest of all other devices. It can be configured with sixth generation Intel core M3 or quad-core Intel Pentium processor. The laptop comes with 11.6-inch display that offers 1366×768 resolution.
Irrespective of their small structure, notebooks belonging to Dell Inspiron 11 3000 series come with standard storage options of 4GB RAM and 500GB. The highlight of these compact and vibrant notebooks is that they can be flipped 360 degrees and get transformed into tent or tablet mode. The device comes with starting price tag of Rs 32,690.
For more seriousness and productivity, users can opt for the Dell Inspiron 5000 series that offers 13-inch and 15-inch variants. Again these can be flipped 360 degrees. Allen Jose commented, “The convertibles are catching up in the PC market and we now have a complete portfolio of Inspiron range with 360-degree hinge. There is not much demand for 17-inch screen size and hence we are not bringing the Inspiron 7000 series to India.”
