How Would You Know That You Carry a Mother Wound?

If you play small or hide your magnificence/ light/ brilliance in order to not threaten others, your mother wound is at play.

If you keep tolerating others’ injustices / poor treatment/ abusive behaviour, your mother wound is at play.

If you easily become someone’s (or everyone’s) emotional caretaker, your mother wound is at play.

If you self-sabotage your own growth (become your own worst enemy), your mother wound is at play.

Mother Wound

If you feel yourself to be in competition with others (especially with other women), your mother wound is at play.

If you become overly rigid in your beliefs, your mother wound is at play.

If you dominate, control and manipulate, your mother wound is at play.

If you suffer from any eating disorders, any level of depression (sadness, grief), your mother wound is at play.

If you have any addictions, your mother wound is at play.

And since almost everyone would identify with one or more of the above, almost all suffer from this primal wound. Ironically, the source of our love is also the source of our pain. One leads to another and vice-versa.
