There is a saying in the spiritual circles, “we are human beings and not human doings” and that has created an entire misconception around valuing the “being” (feminine) more than the “doing” (masculine).
When we understand that the “doing” originates in the “being”, we value our being but we do not deride the doing either. For doing is merely an expression of the being.
It is important to pay attention to our being for that is our home state. But the flowering of the being lies in its doing.
A tree goes through a whole lot of “doing” in order to flower but that doing is effortless because the tree is rooted in its being.
If you are not comfortable with your being, you won’t be comfortable with your doing.
