On Wednesday, the mobile giant- Xiaomi took wrappers off from the all new Redmi Pro Smartphone. The device is up in the market in three variants:
- Helio X20 (3GB/32GB) priced at CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs. 15,100),
- Helio X25 (3GB/64GB) priced at CNY 1,699 (approximately Rs. 17,100),
- Helio X25 (4GB/128GB) priced at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs. 20,200)
The colours available in all variants include Dark Grey, Gold and Silver.
The highlight of Xiaomi Redmi Pro is the presence of a dual 13 MP rear shooter setup that features Sony IMX258 sensor, PDAF autofocus, an f/2.0 aperture and a 5 lens module paired with 5MP Samsung sensor for offering depth-sensing feature. The 5 MP front shooter features a f/2.0 aperture along with 85-degree wide angle lens.
Other remarkable feature of the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 4GB/128GB variant is the 2.5GHz Deca-core MediaTek Helio X25 SoC, which has been paired with a Mali-T880 GPU. The same processor is present in the 3GB/64GB variant but it has been clocked at 2.3 GHz. Because of the presence of these processors, the company claims these devices to be “Most powerful Redmi Ever”.
The ceramic home button of the handset sports fingerprint sensor. The device boasts of a full HD OLED display of 5.5-inch and comes with 342ppi pixel density, a 2.5D curved glass and NTSC Colour Gamut. Other features include a USB Type-C port, CNC-chamfered edges and a brushed aluminium body.
The dual DIM Smartphone offers plenty of connectivity options including 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS/A-GPS. The battery present in the device is of 4050 mAh. The handset weighs 174 grams and measures 151.5×76.2×8.15 mm.
